Sopio Zaldastanishvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. Currently, she is pursuing a BFA in Photography and Related Media at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She moved to the USA in 2018 at the age of 16. In 2020, she was introduced to photography, with which she began to explore the disorienting experience of navigating two cultures and countries almost simultaneously. She is a fashion and lifestyle photographer. Her work showcases themes of nostalgia, pleasure, leisure, and mid-century high style.
